Le Petit Prince

It is supposed to be a book for children. Every French kid has read it or has at least heard of it. I couldn't remember weather or not I had read it so I borrowed it. It is a great, great book. I almost cried on the RER. I strongly recommend it, it's a beautiful and moving story. I think you can also find it in English as The Little Prince although it's very easy to read.

I LOVE long week-ends! Especially when I get to spend 4 days laying in the sun, playing poker in the pool. That is just the best thing ever, btw. Barbecue every night, amazing food! Visiting abbayes. Ice cream on the beach. Jogging every morning. Swimming. Oysters, foie gras and mojitos for aperitif... Life's been GOOD!!!

LOST season 2

I completely forgot about it but a week ago, I was watching episode 201 of LOST with Natalie and we saw this:


It is when Mickael and Sawyer are in the water, on what's left of the raft. The shark is tattoed with the Dharma initiative logo!!! How weird is that!? Apparently I'm not the only one who noticed but whatever...

This show is out of control! I can't wait for the season finale. I hope we know more about everything. And I hope the finale is not similar to the first season's which I doubt...

A Density of Souls

I couldn't sleep last night (again) so I finished A Density of Souls.

I liked it but not as much as I expected. I enjoyed reading it but now, when I think about it I have that bitter feeling of incomfort. It is a very dark story, very well written but too disturbing. I can't think of a better word, it is disturbing! I mean, death, rape, murder, incest, alcohol, abuses of all kinds... It is not easy to read.

But it's good.

My boss keeps being very obnoxious. He likes to yell at me for no obvious reason.
This morning I really wished I could punch him in the face. I think he wouldn't dare talk to his dog like he talks to me. It is very unpleasant. I'm tired.
