A Density of Souls


I couldn't sleep last night (again) so I finished A Density of Souls.

I liked it but not as much as I expected. I enjoyed reading it but now, when I think about it I have that bitter feeling of incomfort. It is a very dark story, very well written but too disturbing. I can't think of a better word, it is disturbing! I mean, death, rape, murder, incest, alcohol, abuses of all kinds... It is not easy to read.

But it's good.

  • The Kite Runner (by Khaled Hosseini ) is about the political turmoil in Afghanistan, and the effect on a family living there. It's probably on my top ten favorite books of all time. :)
