I might have been a bit optimistic on the last post... Up until now it hasn't been as great as expected...

I am done!!!!

Free, no mas!!!
I just finished my apprenticeship two hours ago, no more troll house, no more lousy boss, no more orders. I GET MY LIFE BACK! I am SO excited! I can now go back to being a student (which i really look forward to), fly accross the world to take a long waited vacation with my love. It is all good.
I can not wait any longer. I wish I was there already. The master plan is: 5 days in Vegas, yeah baby!! :) And then 2 weeks between LA and SD. SWEEEEEET!
Then, go back to school, graduate, fly to Hong Kong, find a greatly exciting job there - not to mention with great boss and colleagues. And the best of it all, I plan to do all that with the person that matters the most in my world. Life is going to be back on great. :D

...I guess it is the end of the bored intern :)

Tribe wanted

I just read an article about this new thing called "Tribe Wanted".
Two british men Ben Keene and Marc James just launched their project on Vorovoro island, a small fidji island (80 hectares). They offer to create a responsible green 5,000 people community living on the island. 100 People at at time. So everyone can stay 3 weeks maximum on the island and live like lost characters. lol
The good thing is: your plane doesn't have to crash and you can go back to normal life whenever.

Oh, apparently it's not very recent, maybe you've heard about it already. Anyway, I'm excited. :)
Check out their website: http://www.tribewanted.com/
Has it begun?

Fun pics

Saf and I, matching the walls at a party.

Sof, being sexy ;)

Saf's very first oyster.

I don't know how to translate it properly but literally it says: "Zizou, you cant' leave on a header...", "Coup de tete" also means a very quicly taken decision... Does it make sense?

Paris' oldest tree, planted in 1602.

Arnaud and Marie in front of Notre Dame and the Seine. How cute are they?

Tonight, playing Monopoly (1st time for Arnaud, 3rd for me) and drinking Champagne :)

Still drinking and playing, we played for 5 hours straight.

I finally won (for the fisrt time) with 1,341,400 Francs (it was an old game) so about 204,300 EUR plus all the streets. We had to create money cuz there wasn't enough to play with... Word!

Swimming in Paris

Current mood: outraged by this city and its people. I hope we lose the world cup just to piss them off.
I don't understand this country. I tried to go swimming tonight. I just got back home; 20min after I left, dry. Great.

I went to the closest pool open, two metro stations away from Nation. I got there and I what did I see? A BATHTUB! Full of people pretending they were swimming. Damn frogs! There was at least 10 people per 25 meters lane. There was TRAFFIC!!! And wearing a swimming head cap thingy was obligatory. Fuck that shit!

So I got home thinking I'm gonna call the pools and try to figure out where I can go swim, not splash. Silly me, I forgot that in France you don't get to speak to someone when you call the contact number written on their site. You get a machine that talks for an hour before it gives the timetable. Just the timetable!!! I tried another number from the city of Paris'site and the machine was saying: "If you want to declare a dead bird on the street press one, if you want..." for God knows how long. Thanks a lot Paris for being so convenient!
They are killing me. It's just exhausting when people don't want to be efficient...

If you plan on coming to France eventually, cancel. If you can't cancel, learn yoga...

...If you manage to figure out where and when.
